Subscriptions
REGISTRATIONS FOR THE ERNDIM 2020 EQA SCHEMES WILL OPEN FROM 19 SEPTEMBER 2019 TO 12 NOVEMBER 2019.
If you are an existing ERNDIM EQA participant you will be sent details of how to register for the 2020 EQA schemes when registration opens. To register for the 2020 EQA schemes you will need to log into the ERNDIM Registration Website using the username and password which you will be sent by email. You will need to check all the information which is held on the ERNDIM Registration Website for your laboratory, update it where necessary and select the EQA schemes that you wish to participate in during 2020. If you don't already subscribe to an ERNDIM EQA Scheme and would like to participate during 2020 please contact us and we'll help you to set up an account on our Registration Website.
The ERNDIM EQA Scheme Catalogue gives information on all of the ERNDIM EQA schemes and also the prices of each scheme in Euro, GB pounds and US dollars. The 2020 catalogue can be downloaded from this page - see link on right.

Quantitative Schemes
- Acylcarnitines in serum
- Cystine in white blood cells
- Lysosomal enzymes in fibroblasts
- Neurotransmitters in CSF
- Pterins in urine
- Purines and pyrimidines in urine
- Quantitative Amino Acids in serum
- Quantitative Organic Acids in urine
- Special Assays in DBS
- Special Assays in serum
- Special Assays in urine
Quantitative schemes are planned and managed by members of the ERNDIM Scientific Advisory Board and organised in partnership with SKML, a Quality Assurance provider based in the Netherlands.
SKML dispatches EQA samples to scheme participants and provides a website for on-line submission of results and access to scheme reports by participants.

Qualitative Schemes
- Acylcarnitines in dried blood spots (3 centres)
- Congenital disorders of glycosylation in plasma/serum
- Diagnostic proficiency testing in urine (5 centres)
- Qualitative organic acids in urine (3 centres)
- Urine mucopolysaccharides
Qualitative schemes are planned and managed by members of the ERNDIM Scientific Advisory Board and organised in partnership with CSCQ, a Quality Assurance provider based in Switzerland.
CSCQ dispatches the Acylcarnitines in DBS, DPT and Qualitative Organic Acids EQA samples to the scheme participants. CDG and Urine MPS samples are dispatched by SKML. CSCQ also provides a website for on-line submission of results and access to scheme reports for the Acylcarnitines in DBS, CDG, DPT and Qualitative Organic Acids and Urine MPS samples.

Pilot Schemes
Pilot schemes are planned, managed and organised by individuals with expertise in the relevant area. The schemes are monitored by the ERNDIM Scientific Advisory Board for a minimum period of 2 years. If after this time the Scientific Advisory Board is satisfied that the scheme is successful it will recommend that the Executive Committee adopts the scheme as an official ERNDIM EQA Scheme.

Participation in pilot schemes is limited but if you would like to be contacted if it is possible for us to widen participation in these schemes please contact us.
